"No man is an island."
If there are such who think differently:-
-Their island must be an impractically small one. One that cannot, clearly, sustain life. In and of itself. The instant there is room to move upon their island and the moment they feel the slightest need for anything other than themselves it would be obvious that 'one' cannot sustain oneself.
- "There is none so blind as those who will not see." Even if some yet continue to delude themselves and see the waters that surround them as God's gift to sustain them. They must still concede that the 'bounty' of that ocean must be caught and processed and cooked and served and cleared away.
I am certain that any who have far more than others could not maintain the folly of thinking themselves 'blessed' and thereby entitled to hoard such wealth unto their 'island-self' unless they were actively encourage to do so.
And yet, with all this chatter, we have not travelled far. For we are back to the point of 'legal' and 'illegal' as far as abstracting wealth from an economy is concerned.
Things are the way they are ONLY because we allow it to be so.
