 What makes this interesting is that no political parties are involved and came about by people blogging and Youtube videos.

 Although the referendum was about ties with Ukraine it was widely seen as a vote on the EU as a whole and the Dutch voted 2 - 1 against it albeit on a small turnout. No doubt it will be ignored just as any referendum on the subject is if it doesn't throw up the result Brussels wants.

 Reading this it appears that disenchantment with the political establishment is much the same in Holland as here.
