Its short for 'paralytics', and is my home team.
Not necessarily because of their drinking exploits either...

That is an easy one Howard. The answer is 'none'.
The team in question being Dundee United, known as The Terrors. Their fans are called 'Arabs'.
{Oh, drats!! What can a fellow do, with a 'Jimminy Cricket' doing his thing in one ear?}

Tom's one Dundee story...
Many moons ago I travelled with a friend to Dundee to 'experience' Led Zeppelin at the Caird Hall, and we travelled back south that same night.
We had a tremendous time, but you kinda had to be there.
Two weeks later Rod Stewart and The Faces played there and the fans wrecked the place. The management 'swore' that that was the end for rock gigs. They appear to have relented...

I know a few Dundonians, they are like everybody else;good and less good. The town, I know, has moved on over the last forty years, especially along the sea front.

Tom
my one story
i stayed in a bed and breakfast 3 miles from the town centre just trying to think of the small railway station down the road than ran only a few trains?
i did once walk along the seafront lovely castle, and then into the town centre
a great walk took hours but was lovely
one small point, i walked about 2 miles and there was no notices to say you couldnt go any further and so had to travel back a mile to get out onto the main road to walk through to the town centre.
i met some friends in dundee who lived in the village not far away
i enjoyed my time in dundee
