Good luck to any councillors taking on the Highways England over the effects of Dover TAP on Aycliffe residents.

This is a couple of quotes sent to our from Highways England local MP who has been campaigning on our behalf:

"Our air quality has reviewed the quality concerns for those located close to the A20 and has concluded that TAP would not cause any of the UK air quality thresholds to be exceeded "

"It is the matter of for the Kent Police to enforce the 40 mph limit along with the sounding of horns when TAP is in operation"

So basically Highways pass buck for something they implemented and do not give a sod about the residents of Aycliffe and the effect of TAP on Aycliffe
