Hi Ray
My own personal opinion is that we have at least 1 Council to many
But I would like to see decision making as local as possible
Of course we sadly end up with maybe some cllrs with good intention
But others you have identified why they put up
Dover wasn't helped with its image with regards to the previous mayor where even my sister in law in Singapore got that story
And we do need cllrs willing to run councils not allow officers to
The 2 major parties will struggle to get voters out this time round and when you get safe seats for labour and turn outs of 10% that tells its own story
On top of that labour has also somehow managed to lose that seat in the past
I think we could see smaller parties or individual doing a lot better
Could even unseat a few
I will be glad to be out of it all in May I have better things to do with my spare time
We are a long way from any changes
So we are where we are
