Always strikes me as a bit strange that an Irish rebel song should be used as a christmassy thing, sung by the famous drunk plastic paddy from Tunbridge Wells. Kirsty is still greatly missed however.
One of the tweets in the Captain's post asked how anyone could think it was funny....just watch James Corden or Michael Macintyre (among many) and you could ask the same question, the answer being that comedy and humour is subjective. What I think is funny is a youtube mickey take of Aldis xmas ad, and its called 'Dai the carrot'. I'm not putting a link up, because if you have kids, or don't like sweary stuff, don't watch it !! It could be construed as offensive, not by me though.
