OK if you want to be pedantic ex communist run with the multi millionaires who have thrived and still do at the expense of the poor.
Socialism or Socialist in most peoples eyes means freedom to object to the government and live in a free country, not one where you disappear or get imprisoned when you disagree with the ruling regime as in the countries I mentioned.
