Democracy is all about compromise and understanding another point of view rather than one rather narrow one.

Democracy isn't about compromise, as it more about majority rule. I am not asking for things "my way". What I am asking for is that decisions are made based on a valid and logical reason, and that the concerns of the people are addressed. Not every policy is beneficial to every area and our representitive is meant to to representy that. When the majority of people are in favour of renationalising certain things or decriminalising certain things then our representitive should be representing that. Do you get my point?
