    I don't know the chronology of the rundown of the previous hospital Ray as I first visited a friend in the birthing unit in 2007 and that seemed to be only active part. Plenty of signs to various departments that were boarded up and our previous MP showed no interest in its demise. Back in January the most common procedure on the NHS - cataract surgery was moved from Margate to Buckland saving 6 long journeys for each patient. I understand that it has been moved away but despite asking the local NHS and Charlie I have been unable to find out why.


    Just as an aside the Minor Injuries unit does a lot more than its name suggests, setting broken bones etc so much so that ambulances are taking road accident victims there when paramedics decide to.
