This is all about image rather than substance, the blues with an eye on the women's vote next May.
Moving Michael Gove from the public eye is probably a vote winner too.

The blues are expecting to win back supporters from UKIP by having a Eurosceptic cabinet, I very much doubt that will convince all of them.

Well done Charlie, had a brief chat with him in Market Square last Friday and he was pointing out to me about the success of the benefit reforms in a jolly sort of way. He must have known then that he had got the job.

Congratulations to Charlie but success?????
No end of problems for so many genuine claimants who have lost money because of the bedroom tax even if they are willing to move.
Disability money stopped for two years prior to court cases and subsequent reinstatement, as in my daughter-in-law's case which meant she had to sell her car.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

I'm sure there are lots of people who know someone who has been adversely affected by different forms of welfare/benefit reform. Some have been fair, some not so.

Politicians tend to crow about successes but don't look at the effects on people, this report tends to confirm that.
