Does this photo represent the Cllr who planted flowers, helps with the cleaning of the Dour and has a daily swim in the sea? IF so, I met her once whilst having a bite to eat in a local restaurant. She had lots of ideas on what could improve in the town. I must confess it sounded totally impossible for Dover but then again, she does roll her sleeves up and gets stuck in, if of course I have the correct person in mind. My late husband always said " you can tell those who are worth their salt by what they do themselves, rather than instructing others.". It was most certainly applicable in Devon where we lived. Too many councillors in Kent seem to be fond of sitting on various councils and like Sue, if I may call her that, said previously, I believe there has to be conflict. NOT voting is at such times a total waste of an opportunity to truly represent their constituents.
