So by simply being in the media all the time for good or bad makes him Briton of the Year, just shows what a load of old tosh these awards can be.

The Times don't dish out awards easily, Farage has single handedly changed the agenda in politics over the last year.
As we know they are seen mainly as a two issue party and now the others recognise the signs and are bringing the two to the fore. Dave knows that he has lost a good many activists to UKIP so pretends he can change the way the EU works. The other two leaders look like rabbits caught in the headlights with Ed muttering darkly to his party that they should change the subject when the issues arise on the doorstep. Cleggy wants even further EU integration!!

He has but it could just as easily have been a fish in a top hat, the reason for ukip success is joe public are sick of being ignored and treated with contempt by our politician's, it just happened Nigel was there at the right time and showed to be listening.

Farage is generally a very shrewd politician that homes in on populist policies but every so often he makes a glaring error.
Yesterday he was seen again at a local hunt this time he was on a horse, but 80% of the population are against hunting with dogs and there is very little likelihood of the country set voting for UKIP.
