    Interesting, I thought: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-66375185. On the one hand I guess you can argue this is common sense and makes life easier for UK suppliers to the UK and EU markets of a range of goods. On the other hand, a) so it does for all suppliers globally to those markets and b) it indicates that there were standards/regulations of which the UK did not need to take back control (nor to apply any "gold plating").
