    As a fierce remainer, I agree that it is churlish to mock the CPTPP. Anything is better than nothing.

    However, and as Captain suggests, fierce Brexiteers could help themselves by not making such a big deal of something something so marginal in its impact upon our daily lives. And that's the point with Brexit now, nobody is paying attention to this stuff - only measuring whether their daily lives are better, or worse. That's where Brexit needs to deliver and, ironically, will prove to be a bigger headache for Starmer and Labour when they take up government.
