Boris Johnson took over as PM with one aim in mind,
Opting to leave the EU
knee bend irritations behind,
Remain supporters forced an act through Parliament via Benn,
Insisting that a no deal was not going to be put to the pen,
Speaker Bercow interrupted rudely, (he’s neutral of course),
Joined in the shenanigans from his lofty high horse.
Opinionated as usual he allowed an act to be tabled,
Hoping that a safe Brexit would therefore be disabled,
Nauseating as all this was to many in the UK who voted to leave,
Soon Boris would reveal what was really up his coat sleeve,
Only a plan, at last, which was concocted in the blink of an eye,
No room for manoeuvre, die in a ditch, or hang N. Ireland out to dry?
Many might suggest that the voters views were paramount,
Only, the wealthy seek an outcome to boost their account,
Now money they speculate and invest when sterling is low,
Eyeing the exchange rates that make their cash grow.
Yet, leave the EU or stay, the winners are those who generated pay.
Next comes Gibraltar, Cyprus and the Union problems...........
.and the cost?!
Certainly not as much as our democracy......

Nicola and her SNP cohorts will espy a chance to exploit any move,
If Northern Ireland’s allowed to go it alone, so should Holyrood,
