You could be right about the demise of democracy Jan. The signs are that we will be staying in the EU, so why not encourage them to speed up their plans for the United States Strasbourg Republic (USSR)..................... Hang on, hasn’t this acronym been used before to describe our other friends?
These are just some of the benefits that staying in could create:
Parliament and the House of Lords could be permanently prorogued saving m(b)illions of Euros.
The buildings where they attend part time now could be converted into full time housing with the salaries and expense account savings made.
Our parliamentarians could be sent to fight their battles in the European army and alongside our other conscripted population would still be able to travel the world, all expenses paid.
Education wise there would be the opportunity to speak many different languages.
We could learn how to go fruit picking and cultivate the fields to grow vegetables again.
............there’s so many opportunities to be had without the arguments that seem to prevail at this time.
