Did anyone else listen to the Today programme this morning?

Obviously, recent developments dominated the agenda. I found it staggering that Downing street were unable to supply anyone for interview, despite repeated requests. Apparently, Boris cancelled his meeting planned last night with Hammond at short notice.

David Gawke and Nick Boles were interviewed separately and both stated their position with dignity, clarity and some sadness over the predicament they are now in. There is now a strong implication that Johnson and co will either refuse to pass any parliamentary decision that is against them for royal assent or, even if they are legally compelled to do so, will simply ignore it.

Is this what was meant by taking back control? I hope that all true Tories out there will do their utmost to rid this country of this Cummings-led, rancid cabal. They make Gollum and his 'precious' look like a mild fixation.
