  Caught a bit on the radio where someone from the federation of small businesses was making a very valid point about what would suddenly become an export to a small business. Suddenly a run of the mill small order sent to a long term customer in Spain for example would need export documentation. Not a big problem to a major exporter who would have experience of shipping world wide but a major headache for a small concern that would have to enlist the assistance of a freight forwarder or customs broker. The same applies to small businesses that import who given the high costs of customs clearance will in many cases have to stop trading.
