I believe that at the last count the EU has 10 countries with which it has land borders across which it somehow manages to trade.

Also the NAFTA agreement (USA, Canada, Mexico) somehow manages to cope with trade in goods and services worth $1.2 trillion in 2011 (UK exports to EU £240 billion)

I presume that in neither of these cases the cross border flow of goods involves a tail-back to their equivalent of Manchester or wherever the latest scare story claims the M20 is going to be clogged up to?
