    Fine; WTO rules also have the benefit of not requiring certificates of origin and scrutiny of the proportion of non-originating components/ingredients. It's also the case that yer average WTO customs duty rate pales into insignificance with 20% VAT on pretty much everything. And it's also the case that boxports cope pretty well with border processes.

    The problems start when one applies 'Felixstowe' or 'Rotterdam' processes to the Dover Straits ports - as I'm sure DDC is aware, having two on its patch.
