Well you've attempted to spell it out but as usual you haven't. Nowhere in that article does it say, or even imply,
"but Germany is quite happy to put many thousands of their car workers on the dole in order to punish us, "
If you seriously believe BMW or any other manufacturer will sack workers rather than sell us cars you're even more deluded than I thought, and to be fair you were starting from a very low point.
