  It was obvious from the start it would cost us to get out of their cosy little club, the big debate has always been how much they would fine us for our great escape.
  
  The extortionate amount being spoken of is to put the breaks on other countries following us and wanting to leave, as I have said before they need our stable economy. I am sure those countries that export to us will want to continue so they are the ones we should be lobbying.
  
  As an example look at the fruit and veg we buy from Spain we could easily go without any of their produce. It would simply mean either we grow it which would benefit our farmers, we go back to seasonal foods, or supermarkets look elsewhere.
