  Looking back to 1880 there has only been one Government (Edward Heath) where a newly elected Prime Minister did not win a subsequent election.
  
  The electorate seems to be naturally inclined to give a second term to 'see how thing go'.
  
  My money's still on Cameron.

  I fear, Captain, that with the lack of a credible alternative the Tories will be elected to office. This despite the fact that they have pursued a path that has been at the cost of the weakest and poorest in our society.
