Dear Forumers,
Britain and France have a long history of fighting against eachother. But then there was the Entente Cordiale thing. But now the relations seem to be at a big low point again. So I wonder who would win an actual war these days between Britain and France.

I think that France is stronger in military power. But the territorial advantages of England, but it also depends on whose territory the conflict will be.

Dear StephanieBrooks,
I am not sure if France is stronger militarily in contrast to Britain. If no other country got involved, and if it was just a conventional warfare situation, then I think that the RAF, Royal Navy and British Army would have the edge over their French counterparts.

France is militarily bigger and the UK is better trained. But the UK would win because of its 5 eyes intelligence alliance. The CIA and MI6 have unrivalled co-operation and modern warfare is no longer only fought on the battleground.

I don’t think so. They’re a little busy right now, and what the conflict is going to be about.
