My youngest granddaughter caught coronavirus at school and passed it on to both parents within a matter of days. The adults have both been double vaccinated and all three appear to be making a good recovery from their ordeal at home.
It is noticeable however, that in the general population many have also dropped their guard on taking sensible precautions to avoid contracting the virus and passing it on which is not helping the present situation in the U.K.
The influx of thousands from abroad for the COP 26 summit is unfortunately going to lead to even more risk of increasing the covid problem we already have.
I caught the damned thing in September. Glad I was double vaccinated. But that's about the only aspect that we, as a country, should be grateful for. Kate Bingham is to be lauded and the NHS, for administering so efficiently and speedily, is beyond praise. Apart from that, the politicians have presided over the colossal balls-up from start to where we are now. And there's no sign of that abating, unfortunately.
