To be honest Bob, at this point who really cares about voting intentions?

The things we should be worrying about are (in my view and in no particular order):

How do we ensure that everyone is able to get at least basic foodstuffs. medicines, toiletries and cleaning products when they need them

How do we ensure that people are able to continue to pay their rent/mortgage and utilities if they are unable to work due to their employer having to shut

What do we do to ensure kids due to take exams are properly assessed and receive the appropriate grades

How do we ensure that businesses are helped to stay afloat until this pandemic has passed and what stake in those businesses should the state get in return for any bailout - I would suggest small businesses are given non-repayable grants to cover their costs and salaries, SMEs and large enterprises a mix of grants and interest free loans in return for a share in the business (as we did with the bailed out banks in 2008)

How can we all help ensure the NHS and social care is able to continue to provide for those in need

In the face of social distancing and self (or imposed) isolation how can we maintain a sense of community and ensure people get the help they need

How do we protect essential workers and ensure that they can continue to look after the rest of us
