Didn't surprise me to see Blackpool and Hastings in the list but a little surprised about Thanet.

Typical cherry picking of data points from the urban deprivation research by the BBC - completely ignored the areas with the worst % of households in Deprivation (Middlesbrough, Liverpool, Manchester) or the one that has seen the biggest decline between 2010 & 2015 (Nottingham) as this didnt fit with the story about deaths from illegal drugs...

I was actually in Blackpool last weekend and can assure you it is one of the most depraved places I've visited. Seriously.
