Shipwreck of "The Preussen" in Crab Bay

Date: 6 November 1910
The Preussen (Preußen) was a German steel-hulled five-masted windjammer built in 1902 that collided with British cross-channel steamer "Brighton" on 5 November 1910, 8 nautical miles south of Newhaven. Attempts to sail into port or anchor off Dover were unsuccessful, and Preussen drifted onto rocks at Crab Bay where she sank.
