    I understand your views Howard and Brian ,I have said on this forum before my Uncle was in a German Prison of war camp for four years ,my father in law in Burma which ruined his lungs as he was a tin miner before the last war ,came home to a wife very ill who died before the war ended.I donot object to quiet laying of wreaths but not all that goes with it.We have food banks and young females who according to a recent interview given by ladies from Dover,who cannot afford female essentials .So when our Town Councillos parade with red roses on their robes forgive me for asking Questions .
    A simple ceremony .
