SAD outlook on life and to much of a generalisation.
HOWARD;
We used the recreation ground in town and pier, not for 5 a side, but for 11 a side
in the registered east kent youth league playing clubs from across kent.
Sadly after much talking with the planning dept, and no movement from them, we gave up, and ended up at the sports centre concentrating on the 5 a side
where we ran 2 teams and still do.
we appear to be finding lots of obstacles these days to stop us operating(or trying to)
we held monthly bingo sessions in the church hall for some 5 years, we wanted to start it up again recently only to be told we need £3m insurance,
so we will look elswhere on that one.
but the club will continue because we believe in it, seeing the happiness on the kids faces and those at bingo, makes us determined to continue
