    I totally agree with Rogers view as per post 32.

    Of course there has always been and always will be single mums. A fact of life.

    Many bring their child up well and is often because of the support given by their family.You cannot cast a picture of failure to all single mums and full credit to those that succeed in bringing up a child under often difficult circumstances.

    The area that is in question is the mum that deliberately seeks as many children with differnt fathers and is doing so to secure as much benefit and housing.

    We do need to totally look at benefits etc as the real problem in Calais is the fact that the UK is seen as the Land of Honey with state hand outs and the perception that everyone has a job.

    No doubt as a General Election looms this will be a major topic as more and more people who have worked and contributed taxes all their life are getting fed up with this mamby pandy state.
