I wonder if it is fair to say that young people have no problems with the e.u. Only in the idealistic non-existing world, where everything runs so well and all are so happy, where all lived happy ever after under the paternal rule of characters wearing 12 star halos on their heads and women with green hair in Brussels, claiming to be the holy spirit and gods the almighty ones. One would be shocked by such phrase into forgetting that every year in Britain alone tens of thousands of families are evicted from their only home by some judge! The friendly bank-manager busily working! This is everything the e.u. stands for, and it's all I know about the e.u.! Throwing British families with their children out of their homes!
No, that the house was valued three times its real value and may-be the parents, both working, paid off it's real value but couldn't pay what the speculation market charged, doesn't really enter one's head, and certainly not that may-be some children were among the home-evicted! That often parents split up because of it. Let's forget all that! It's damaging to the holy spirit image of the paternal fathers of Europe.
Or shall we forget that the same happens in many western European countries, where millions and many millions of people, young and elder, are left to rot on benefits, and that they often too have a child or children. Why not just call them all lazy! And say that whoever questions the e.u. system "hates Europe and is destroying Europe"! So, putting words in the mouths of innocent children! Who have not grasped that the spiteful e.u. government system that has ruined so many peoples lives has everything to do with the e.u., and pretend that it is not an e.u. government system, not a part of the e.u. clique that set out to change our lives, to make us "a new people", and claim instead that "young people have no problem with the e.u.". Older people ought to know better, and not try to lower wisdom and realization of the ugly facts by hiding behind children or young people going out on Saturday night and placing in their mouths words they never said, or even ideas which many, because of their being so young, could not grasp.
We cannot be so indifferent to the young generation of our very own Nation as to sacrifice them to an ever more bankrupt system that destroys our Country, with neighbors in western Europe who suffer no less than we do, to a clique of failures that, although they just lost the General Election, still managed to sign away another 9,5 to 13 billion pounds of British money to bankrupt e.u. governments of western Europe, to pay for the snotty interest of the bonds which they have to pay out, with the interest, to their creditors!
We won't see that money back even in fifty years! How interesting to hear now one member (Darling) of the failed clique say: oh! I couldn't avoid signing, I had to, my hands were bound by the Lisbon Treaty (which they themselves signed)! So why not pretend that to question this clique of Brussels mad-hatters is equivalent to hating the French, and the Italians, and the Germans, and the Greeks and Spanish and Portuguese! Equivalent to hating those tens of millions of European people suffering, who are unemployed, or working and working to pay a mortgage or the rent at three times its real value, as in Britain the same, with many being home evicted anyway at some point for "failing", and why not pretend that it's equivalent to hating their children! Why not just say: young people have no problems with the e.u. and that whoever defines in appropriate words the clique of e.u. maniacs who have failed their own individual countries and are still trying to dominate 27 countries as one, hates Europe and the Europeans! Why not just repeat this until we all believe it!
Is this being courageous wise people, to hide our heads in the sand, and pretend we have no responsibilities, and hide behind children and say: they love the e.u., let's leave it to them to sort the mess out when they are older (when the total deficit and state debits would be twice as high as they are now, and half of people living in Britain would be mass-immigrant assylo-seekers)!
Let's hope the Tories will see sense, and realize that Labour has just inflicted another massive debit on Britain for a minority Tory government to inherit and take the blame, in the name of bankrupt e.u. governments that have failed their own people and gone below bankruptcy and now fear a revolution in the Mediterranean area!
Let's hope the Tories realise that many people who would have voted for other parties, such as UKIP or the Scottish Party, really voted for the Conservatives just so as not to split the vote and so as to be rid of new Labour for ever!
And because the British People by Constitution voted Parliament to represent the interests of the British People, and not to sacrifice British people and serve the private interests of people of other countries such as assylo seekers and mass imported cheap labour, let's hope the Tories recognise the Constitution of the British People! And want to serve the British People, for which reason they were elected, and not the private interests of other people, for whose private interests they were not elected.
May God forbid that Labour ever return again to power!
People who think well of the Country's young generation and would not abandon them to the "new culture" of gangs of assylo seekers running through London brandishing clubs and knives and executing a lone person, and do not call the unemployed "lazy louts", needn't fear for saying the truth about a clique that betrayed the British People! I have never insulted our young generation, and for this reason alone I consider myself far less liable than many who have their say at young British people languishing in British job-centres!
It might seem easy to pick on the young who can't defend themselves, and even place insane phrases in their mouths, but it's something elder people shouldn't do! Let's not hide now behind the young people and leave it for them to sort it out one day, but be courageous and help them!
Let's democratically expel the authority of this insane band of Brussels maniacs from our shores, and in so doing do all Europe a favour too, as many will soon follow the example, democratically and through common sense of speech and words. Let's not utter drivel by saying: young people owe their lives to the e.u. because they never knew anything else! To say that is certainly trying to replace God Almighty and the Heavenly Host with the 12 star halo bearing clowns of Brussels!
These clowns did not create humanity, nor Europe, nor Britain, and what the young people - supposedly - do not know now, they will certainly realise one day! But I believe that many young people have experienced the nastiness of home eviction in their own Country by order of their own courts of law, and also unemployment, or know it from their parents or relatives or neighbours. They probably realise more and more as the days go by that the miserable clique of the bankrupt e.u. system gets away with everything and never seems to go bankrupt, for all that it has dragged many countries into bankruptcy, because it keeps grabbing our money and sending us bankrupt instead, as it does to the western Europeans too! The young people probably also realise that the untouchable city bankers never go bankrupt, and increase their salaries with lofty bonuses even now, for all that hey sent the banking system bankrupt only two years ago, in Britain and in Europe!
And young British people probably realise that British families in Britain who couldn't make it any longer to pay the mortgage, and went bankrupt, were flung out! It still happens, and it happens to western Europeans too. No, I do not believe that young people are so stupid as some may like to paint them out to be, although children in their innocence cannot be expected to know all that we elder people ought to know! But, the statement: to oppose the e.u. is "destroying Europe", now this IS a incredible! I hate the e.u. system, and I certainly do feel I am defending Europe! I do NOT hate Europe, and am NOT trying to undo Europe! Is it not bankruptcy of e.u. governments we are talking about these days? But total and complete bankruptcy almost to the stage of violent revolt in Greece, cradle of Democracy!
It's time clowns with twelve star halos on their heads and women with green hair in Brussels packed up and went home! Their twelve stars are not the Twelve Stars in High!
The Brussels clowns are not the creators of humanity, nor of Europe, and children do not owe their prayers to these clowns, and are not their property, and need not thank them for anything.
They are not at all obliged to call them: holy father!, and: founding father!, and: heads of this, that and the other!
Not more "green hair"? I've not seen anyone sporting that colour except some overly optimistic Plymouth Argyle fans! As for hating all those nasty foreigners Alexander, everyone knows, including the garlic infused French, that we only hate THEM! Not only did they steal their crown, back in the time of Edward II/III, but fought us for centuries despite the fact that we kept on beating them. Then they were stupid enough to lose their country twice, not once, twice, to the other nasty pro-Europeans the Germans, and we had to rescue them.
If they'd only stick to cooking, painting and writing, life would be so much easier.
Otherwise Alexander, your long rant is, in my own opinion, a pile of tosh.

May-be if I put it this way, in short: if a British family in Britain OR a European family in western Europe gets home-evicted, and the occupants who went bankrupt and couldn't continue paying the mortgage are young people, or have children, I don't believe one e.u. leader in the Brussels parliament or in the parliaments of e.u. countries have ever thought of turning out to offer their 'paternal love' and aid. They are in fact the ones who cause so much misery!
This thread was all about the statement that young people have no problem with the e.u.
Young folks don't have a problem with the EU Alexander, it's only our generation that keeps droning on about it.
People get turned out of their homes for not paying their bills. That is not directly the fault of politicians, but is directly the fault of those who do not manage their money.
We all have a personal responsibility to manage our affairs according to the economic climate we live in. Unless of course you are one of those who think society owes you something?

Sid

funny ha ha!

So, all those people who got tossed out of the factories that closed down in Britain and western Europe and were transferred to Poland and co. in the East

and to China

, they don't need to thank the e.u. 12 star halo-bearers

and women with green hair

for it,

do they!

You surprise me, Sid!

Unemployed people who can't pay the mortgage anymore, Sid, because of e.u. spiteful policies of social horror

, are exactly that which young people know more than you would like them not to!

Try going to a job-centre Sid, and noting that almost everyone signing on is British!
I'll keep back any terms which you use to define my views, Sid, keeping them for the e.u. "holy fathers with 12 stars'!

But please inform yourself properly, Sid
