    Nope, Roger.
Nuclear energy is not cost-effective nor safe.

Britain would go bankrupt twice-over to find the funds to build the number of power stations required to obtain 100% dependency on electricity production from atomic power.

The Government are wringing their hands for the answer to effective power production, (cost effective, and respective of the carbon emission goals).

And Japan's nuclear problem last year came as a warning to governments far and wide. Germany is going ahead with pulling out of nuclear power production.

Scotland already has a policy to ban nuclear power production - for anyone who hasn't studied Scotland's energy production policies.

Meanwhile, oil and gas supplies depend on an intricate network of production and transport, the former exclusive to producing countries, the latter via pipelines and sea routes.

Then we have fracking, which would require the mass-shattering of underground rocks, and also there are proposals for the ignition of underground coal-mines. These two elements of energy production are closely related to bust and boom
