#66. First rule of conduct in addressing somebody is to get their name right. Further to that, whatever investigative powers you refer to, the basic information is limited; appreciation for what? Cats, dogs, gardens, sausages for breakfast? I must have neglected to dust off my crystal ball. Some participants on this page have quite a unique sense of humour. Here you are Ritaroo talking about the official secrets act and then we have Vic Matcham saying he can't divulge his serial number because it's still in use. Just can't believe it. Any person in the forces gets told "if captured, all you give is your rank, name and serial number" a serial number is allocated to 1 person only and remains with that person, into eternity. My point, which was obviously missed, had hopefully expressed my view on dropping part information about individuals without backing them up. Common sense should prevail, sadly often doesn't. If a person is indeed guilty of any breach which is pointed out in public, the first reaction will be to remove any or all evidence. Not fully backing up accusations is rather silly as you give the alleged perpetrators extra time to dispose of anything that might or could be used against them. So if the allegation was true, it's by now possibly worthless. If it was a bluff, well" red faces" comes to mind and possible contact from the police for defamatory accusations made on a public forum. I did not investigate this, strange as it may seem, I used the limited brain power I was born with to try and make it clear to you. I am not good at drawing pictures. Have you tried looking up regulations for yourself? Life has taught me never to rely on the competence of another when I can rely on my own? Having , hopefully made myself clear. I will say that if anybody had hinted at me as 2 Cllrs have been or Howard Mcsweeney1 that I was in breach of any rules, I would call them out. I would not have kept quiet hoping it would go away. That is of course assuming I had nothing to hide. But then, I have been in an environment for the largest part of my life, where a warrior is not sat behind a keyboard or where those who's job it is to represent me uphold the ethics of their role and the body they represent.
