  What all this puts to shame is the government for sending these lads there to Afghanistan. I think it was Harry who made a very good post on another thread..saying that when he saw the people in the Calais camp he didnt think they were worth fighting for, as they had run away. Wouldnt put it quite that way myself however I can see where he is coming from... but as Afghhanistan has been proved to be a totally corrupt systme/regime the whole thing fails to have justification. We are clearly not winning, not getting anywhere either. Its like a bizarre dance..two steps forward three steps back.
  
  So its wrong to have good lads suffering and dying in this way, although the lads themselves are amazing under the terrible maimings they face.
