  I have friends that live up that area and would be stuck or rely on taxis to and from town without that bus service.The bus is always heaving with passengers in the mornings with oap shoppers. I suppose Stagefright would think twice if they were all fare paying passengers but because they use their passes there willl be no significant loss in revenue nor will it effect their cash flow but will be another 'saving'.
  
  Another example of privitisation replacing the word 'service' for 'profit'.
