    Regarding all these numpties moaning about the impact of the weather we get this sort of weather on average once every 10-20 years it is therefore not worth investing millions of pounds in equipment that will be obsolete the next time we get this sort of weather. Yes councils need to get the gritters out a little earlier and perhaps invest in one or two more, the train companies need to get their de-icing trains out earlier etc but that is as good and as much as we can expect.
