Yet again I've just has this group 'moved on' from Deal High Street (though they are appearing in a number of towns locally).
They are not 'homeless' having accommodation locally. They even have a car!
They are BEGGARS who having travelled hundreds of miles from Romania, are conning local people into thinking they are down and out (including local food outlets which have been feeding them!)
Kent Police (phone 101) are very pro-active in moving them on.
Remember, IF we were stupid enough to allow ALL EU national who happen to be in the UK at the time to remain post-Brexit we would never get rid of the likes of them.
It's a great shame that the Treaty of Rome, which allows the free movement of Goods, Services and Labour has been interpreted in the UK (unlike in most European countries) to mean the free movement of spongers.
