Paul - it reminds me of why my Old Man and I moved back from Ireland after a trial run there a few years back. He is very very English. I am Irish. In Ireland, that working the room thing is second nature and how everything is done. Doors are open, hands are shook, smiles are smiled, networks formed, deals are done. Over here it is different - not better or worse, just different! The English culture closes the front door, has an air of reserve and expects others to be the same! It is fascinating watching the differences! And impossible for the very very English to operate in such a different environment!
