    Jimmy Ireland Im sure very grateful for the help with bailout. The Uk was just a small part of the bailout but at the end of the day it was just a loan of course. UK will make money out of said loan over time.

    And speaking of money...this World Cup is about money. It is because we here in the UK are a bit strapped for cash that we have to speculate to accumulate. You have to spend small and make big. Thats the idea!

    The World Cup makes a vast amount of money. I think it was Mr Cameron who said yesterday that 9 million people here in the UK will watch it. All spending at a guess between £30 and £100's of pounds every single match. Thats a fortune. Then you have TV companies from all over the world arriving. All paying big for the coverage. Then you have millions coming to see it from overseas all paying to fly here and all staying in hotels and guesthouses, and spending then in pubs and restaurants.

    Well you get my drift...thats the reason so many countries chase it because handled well it can make a fortune. And the UK with all the infra-structure already in place can make a fortune out of it.

    They have wheeled out the big guns to make this happen. Prince William, David Beckham and of course David Cameron, who must be delighted to get away from the Libdems for a while.
