a very bold selection by roy hodgson and I think he has got it right in looking to the future.
we are not going to win the world cup but a great chance for youngsters to gain valuable experience on the world stage and maybe become stars.

Just do not see this World Cup catching the imagination as they have previously, a general acceptance now that we are second rate, and some may say third rate, a miracle and a Russian linesman are needed

Indeed - not a lot of quality there. If you look at it objectively, you would say a First or Second Round exit.
Still, miracles do happen...

certainly not a patch on the talent we sent to south Africa 4 years ago but the difference this time is that there should be more hunger this time.
I am looking forward to it but realistic enough to hope we qualify from the first phase, nothing more than that.
the experience gained will put our young talent in good stead for the euros in 2016.
