    That policeman should be sacked or at the very least reprimanded, he is there to uphold the law not blatently ignore it. No wonder some cyclists think they can do as they like.

    I could have caused a serious accident the other day to an on the pavement cyclist that I did not know was behind me. I was walking near the kerb and when I suddenly decided to cross the road and he had to swing out into the oncoming traffic to avoid me therefore they are not safer on the pavement. BTW this was near Morissons and we all know how fast traffic can be in that area when they speed away from the lights.
