    nigel refers to the appalling behaviour of a driver in post 38, according to the press the mother seemed to think it was o.k. to cross the road with her daughter where she was.

    this is not the case, there is no marked crossing there and it is on a bend.

    people do cross there(myself included) but only when there is nothing coming, which is not the case in this incident.
