  Right what would I do .I would try to lever more money in to smarten our derlict buildings .
  ,Enough money to employ more officers to oversee these projects Employ more road sweepers ,fine litter bugs .Paint some of our street furniture ,plant more flowers .Those planters in the precinct are awfull .Not spend money on fireworks which are over in a few minutes .Invest in sport

  Less meetings and more action .Councillors to walk their patches and chase up complaints .For instance three weeks to get a few branches trimmed from a tree ,stupid or what ..
  Councillors to visit schools and listen to the young people actually engage with them
  Maintain all our parks to a higher standard .
  Take down old posters .
  Train all shop assistants on customer care .
  Just a few .ideas.
  
  Get a smart town like Bern said .Give your front room a spring clean and people will want to stay .More people staying shops will come .
