already there peter, we both have cataracts but i bet he local vet sorts his out before the n.h.s does mine.
fascinating creatures though, always plotting to escape by tunnelling under fences.
had one years ago - passed down the family, found out after he conked out that he was somewhere between 80 and 90 years old, a juvenile i suppose

I wonder if the Blue Peter one is still going? Fred I think it was called, but I am sure that they discovered it was female and it became Freda (at least I think that was the Blue Peter one!)
