My local rag would usually carry quite a few small ads for Witch Doctors in various guises. I haven't bought a copy in a while and the online version does not run to such detail, but I might have a look-see later.
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

This is such an awful story apparently the poor lad called his Father several times, and he did not believe him when he did eventually come it was to late, but you are right Howard it has bought it out into the open but it still goes on even in this country.

the problem is not being addressed, the report refers to africans and their ancient beliefs but there has been cases of zealots with christian and muslim beliefs that have a thing about devils.
about 12 years ago there was a similar case to the above about 200 yards from where i lived where a girl was tortured to death by her mum and aunt for being "wicked".
screams from the house were reported by neighbours, but the problem of not causing offence to people with cultural differences won the day.
