Crikey! .. trying to get the hang of this all dancing Windows 8.1 stuff on a new computer, so hopefully these will be uploaded okay. Nothing is where its supposed to be anymore...well I suppose change is inevitable. Top picture shows the Moats Bulwark which sits below the Castle walls...pic taken just a few minutes ago in the weak winter sun. Bit of an overlooked historical gem this one.. it looks good today as it catches the light.
I knew what the Moats Bulwark name meant one time but have forgotten again.
The second shot is looking up the harbour as the sun sinks or as night falls...showing the olde clock tower in the centre and Lord Warden House to the left. Night before last.
