I find W7 quite good actually, a lot better than Vista which was dreadful.

I am running Vista and I get a lot of shutdowns on uploading and so on...several times during allsorts of procedures I am asked to send to Microsoft for a solution. The result is I basically use Mozilla Firefox to do the Forum itself. I find myself trusting it and overall it works well. Chris Tutthill recommended I use it so I did and life got better.

Paul, you need one of these, a bargain at £22!

PaulB.
Vista, windows XP, windows 7, are operating systems.
Internet explorer, Google chrome, firefox are internet browsers.
Vista is the worse OS and I would not recommend upgrading to 7.
A new pc with windows 7 OS, is the expensive answer.
I still use XP, as I find it stable and suitable for my needs but I would recomend windows 7.
I don't rate firefox or chrome myself; I stick to I.E for browsing.
This is only a preference, I am sure other's will have their own preference's.

I can agree with Gary here except for one thing.... I find that I.E. is dreadful. I use Chrome mostly as my default but for some websites use Firefox. I really resent the now few sites that I am forced to use I.E. with - it is just so unstable and slow.

I use IE most of the time but I also use Firefox for some things. I am not a lover of Windows 7 or Vista for that matter, like Gary I use XP.

I find Windows 7 ok, and I love my Firefox. I like the way I can customize it with extensions, so I can get it to work and look just how I want it. I hate IE.
