Whether turbines, on land or sea, are unsightly or not, is surely just a personal preference and not a reason for having them or not. Necessity or not, should be the argument?
I enjoyed watching the turbines serenely spinning around the outskirts of Sheffield, but then I liked watching the four big wheels turn at our Kent pits as well.
Around Kent where we have a coastline, I think we should have them out at sea, using almost continuous movements of the tide and why can't they incorporate desalination plants as well? I am sure there is a reason?
I can't make my mind up on Global Warming, but I do know I am against chopping down our forests and I believe there is a need to take more care of our environment, than what we are doing now, worldwide. Greed and short sightedness is ruining our world.
