This must be one of the best kept secrets in Dover, the family and myself only heard about this raffle yesterday,
I hope they have other outlets than the Transport Museum and the Charlton Centre this weekend as they have to sell well over 2000 tickets to make it a worthwhile venture.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Just heard that a lady from Folkestone won the car, apparently tickets have been on sale all over the country for some time so a tidy profit looks to be made for the transport museum.
What a great car to win I think I did have a ticket for it. And lets hope that the museum did do well out of it .
Like the East Kent Railway they are all ways in need of funding. As you know we did win that £50.000 two weeks ago but there are so many projects being worked on out here,on top of that what my small group are working on the bridge ,alone over the next 3 years we are looking at spending over £50.000 getting the bridge work done and back in service but it will look the part when it is up .We have one section now done and open for viewing to the public. Also the Railway is looking at putting down a new car park. Both the museum and the railway are great projects to bring in the public to Dover .they can do both in one day and that would be a nice day out for the family.
